Engagement Shoot on the River at Bulimba

Sarah and JR decided to have their engagement shoot in a little park beside the Brisbane River, just near the Bulimba Sailing Squadron where their wedding will be held later this year. Although a little nervous about being in front of the camera, they soon overcame their trepidation to enjoy themselves so that we could capture some great shots.

I recently read this article about the experience of a journalist (a keen amateur photographer) who got to tag along with a professional wedding photographer and shoot over his shoulder. It was interesting to hear about his reactions on the day and to see the comparison of his work beside the professionals photos of the same situations.

Windaroo Cottage Wedding Chapel

The Windaroo Cottage Wedding Chapel was opened at the Windaroo Cottage Wedding Expo last Sunday. The original historic cottage has been renovated and converted to a beautiful chapel with classic queensland architecture and timber seating and furniture. The classic feel of the chapel mixed with modern amenities such as air conditioning and a sound system make this a perfect venue for hosting an intimate ceremonies for up to 100 guests.
