Sarah and JR decided to have their engagement shoot in a little park beside the Brisbane River, just near the Bulimba Sailing Squadron where their wedding will be held later this year. Although a little nervous about being in front of the camera, they soon overcame their trepidation to enjoy themselves so that we could capture some great shots.

Engagement Photos in New Farm Park
A walk around at New Farm Park with Shamine and Joe was a great opportunity to take some engagement photos while we discussed options for their wedding. With the historic rotunda, rose gardens and majestic old fig trees, the park is certainly a wonderful location and Shamine and Joe’s relaxed and easy going natures made capturing some great shots very easy.
We will all be looking forward to the Wedding, hoping that the weather will have the Jacarandas flowering beautifully for a final touch to the photos.
Jodie and Ben’s e-shoot
After some delay in scheduling (the last time we tried to do this shoot Brisbane flooded), I finally had the pleasure of shooting some engagement portraits for Jodie and Ben. An afternoon stroll around the Roma Street Parklands provided us with a great variety of spots to shoot and Jodie and Ben provided wonderful subjects. I hope that they enjoyed the shoot as much as I did.

Amanda and Josh e-session
A lovely morning wander around the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens was the setting for Amanda and Josh’s e-session. We also used this as an opportunity to see which areas of the Gardens they liked best for their wedding photos. Apart from the company of too many mosquitoes in the Australian Rainforest area, we had a relaxed and enjoyable morning. I am looking forward to photographing their wedding next year.
